Increase your body’s ability to self-heal & self-regulate

Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a manual, hands-on therapy that works with the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate. Caroline’s job as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner is to encourage this self-healing process by realigning the structures of the body during manual therapy.
Osteopathic Manual Practitioners believe there is a relationship between the structure and function of the body. From your head to your toes, there is nothing in your body that doesn’t connect. When one part of the body is out of alignment or not working to the best of its ability, every other part will have to work harder to make up for it. This imbalance in the human structure contributes to the development of disease if left untreated long enough. Through gentle mobilizations of the entire body, Osteopathic manual therapy will guide the body to where it should naturally be in alignment. It is important to have enough time in between your treatments to allow nature to do its job, removing any obstacles or obstructions that will interfere with the proper nutrition and drainage of the body’s tissues.
Osteopathic Manual Practitioners are not healers; we are facilitators of health. Caroline’s main goal is to create motion where it is limited, or there is none at all, to encourage proper blood flow through your nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics to facilitate full body healing
